MTA: There is Such Thing as a Free Ride! - South Pasadena, CA Patch: "The county's transportation agency on Monday announced free rides on the county's buses and trains on two of the year's worst nights for drinking and driving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will offer the free rides from 9 p.m-2 a.m. both nights."
